This year the weather was kind to us, there was snow the weekend before and snow the weekend after our event, the weekend in the middle was bright and dry, we had a great turn out for our Daffodil Walk at Sir Vivian and Lady Barbara Ramsey’s home.

This year was the second time we had done our bug walk for the children and a small quiz for them to keep them occupied,  we also put together some sun flower seed kits that we sold for childrend to plant up and watch grow.

Tea, coffee homemade cakes and biscuits were enjoyed and many visitors bought the homemade cakes to take home with comments like “I’ll tell my family - here’s one I made earlier.

The afternoon was fun the children enjoyed the name the bug competition and North West Kent Volunteer centre made £436 to go towards our projects for the older person.
